Job Description
Haven of Peace Academy (HOPAC) is seeking an Art teacher for the 2013/2014 school year. This teacher will be responsible for teaching art to Grades 6 - 12.
The mission of Haven of Peace Academy is to provide an excellent, Christ-centered, international education to the children of missionaries and full-time Christian service workers in Tanzania. HOPAC extends this opportunity to children of Tanzanians and children of expatriates as well.
HOPAC provides teachers with a monthly allowance that covers a significant portion of in-country living expenses. The teacher is required to raises support for other expenses.
Children of teachers receive tuition-free spots at HOPAC. The school also covers all permit/visa costs and sets aside significant funds for staff development. Teachers are expected to be spiritually supported by a sending mission or home church.
